I LOVE DUST x TOKYO FIXED GEAR

I LOVE DUST x TOKYO FIXED GEAR, originally uploaded by TokyoFixedGear.com.

This came out pretty crazy! We always wanted to see a design on one of these so we presented the frame to the I Love Dust team who got to work creating an original wallpaper for the bike.
The complete bike will be on display in our soon to open Soho Shop!

Aldies Messenger Bag

Aldies Messenger Bag, originally uploaded by TokyoFixedGear.com.

Aldies is our newest Japanese brand. In a world of graphic led streetwear & collaborations its refreshing to see small clothing brands putting this much emphasis on patterns and detail. We love the detail, we love the colours, we love the hemp, we love being our selves in this stuff & hope you will too.

Get it here.

Ewan McGregor TFG Build

This leaked a bit sooner than I though it would!

We built Ewan a bike for his upcoming movie The Last Word. The movie is set in Glasgow & directed by David Mackenzie.

He's riding a Gorilla Hattara frame & he's wearing clothing from Pedal.e.d, CCP & Swrve. Ewan took two, one to ride in the movie & one to add to his "collection", he told us he has a Pake (Another brand coming soon!). He seems to love all things with two wheels, when he was down in London he borrowed a bright green Cycroc & rode it round W1, would have been good to get a photo of that.

If any one wants a Gorilla we will be selling their bikes in our soon to open shop. We will be taking pre orders on their amazing new trick bike soon!

CCP X Taliah Lempert Pillows

Taliah Lempert's paintings are becoming as well known in the bicycle world as the bikes whose portraits she paints. Here she lends here paintings to CCP who have created a 12 colour printed pattern fabric. The pillows come in small & large, Grey or white. Buy them here.

White Induistries

What can I say? White Industries have blown us away. We see a lot of nice stuff but their components are beyond everything. These components are about strength, quality & unbeatable finish. Enjoy.

Marschall Bikes

We recently received delivery of the new publication Custom Bicycles. Out of all the builders the one that stood out the most for me was Marschall from Germany. The features of the bike all seem to flow very well together, not too showy but not under worked. I especially like his use of stainless steel, polishing & classic looking finished build. Defiantly worth a visit!

For ages 15 & up

This is an all Japanese affair; Internet bike fanatics Pedal Mafia X Toy Giants Yamoto bring us track bike scale miniatures. And thats not all, you can, in the spirit of fixi's customize your toys with endless combination of tiny plastic parts. Collect or customise or better yet both.

Anodised MKS

MKS in colour... finally!

Unfortunately Royal Mail have decided to go on strike again & unfortunately we use them to carry most of our smaller domestic packages. Royal Mail didn't issue TFG a official appolagy last strike round but I'm sure they're very sorry for all the packages that took 10 days instead of two.
We can say two things; 1.) We're looking for a new carrier who can handle all our outgoing packages. 2.) If your ordering something small (Hub, T-Shirt etc) that you need withing two days let us know. For £8 we can send any small package for next day delivery.

We're excited

Both frames will be out soon! The Dodici Frame & the Gorilla Kilroy will both be available here. You will be able to check them out in the upcoming TFG shop.
Both frames have good background stories; the Dodici frame being Jacapo of Dodici's baby. Designed in Milan, built in Vicenza. This thing is gonna be amazing.
Secondly the Gorilla Kilroy. Defiantly the best looking trick frame to date. Designed in Switzerland built in Italy tested by Wonka.
E-Mail us for order inquiries.

Tuesday Night Tricks - New Home!

Tuesday night tricks now has a blog! Whats Tuesday night tricks? -

Everyone is welcome, from people who want to learn how to trackstand through to pro-riders pulling tricks to make your eyes pop out. With an informal and really welcoming atmosphere, everyone up on the roof is there to ride bicycles, teach each other tips and then sit down for a beer to nurse those bruised knees and egos.

You heard it here; there's going to be lots of moves from TNT next year! I look forward to a bit of organization...

Big News

This is very very big news for us. We are, after almost a year of planning & pushing, opening a shop! The shop will hopefully be open Nov. We will be doing a full release very soon via newsletter (Any one not on our mailing list please pop us an e-mail to info@tokyofixedgear.com , subject newsletter) but we can say now that we will located on the corner of Berwick & Peter Street in the heart of London & Soho. The store will consist of two floors, lots of vintage loot, lots of new parts brands, frames & clothing brands. We are very excited.

BMW Elements Frame Coming Soon

We've just got a heads up that we will be getting a few of these in before Christmas. Thats good news! Availabilty will be extremely limited and we are unsure when we will be able to reorder so If your in the market for a nice fucking trick bike you better drop us an e-mail & reserve an Element.

Here's some info on the project: As you may have heard, we have teamed up with the folks at Element Skateboards to release a small clothing line in Spring 2010. We made a small batch of fixed-freestyle frames, the Brooklyn Element, to showcase the line and show our support to our riders pushing the limits of the Gangsta Track.

We have a 550 in stock & it cam out at 1.2kg frame only. For those that don't weigh everything thats light for a track frame! Thats also light for a road frame.

Nitto Mark Racks In

These racks are designed by US touring specialists Rivendell & made in Japan by Nitto. It goes with out saying that the quality is outstanding. Unlike most front racks these can be easily installed & have an expansion available.
Weighs between 11 and 13 ounces depending on how you rig it, but it's tubular CrMo, and can carry a larger load than its size suggests. There are lots of ways to use it as a saddlebag support in back, as a platform for a basket (zip-tie the basket on), or just strap a stuff-sack full of gear onto it.
Look out for some more Nitto gems coming in soon. The lugged stem especially.
