Or would he do what he did 160 years ago and find the toughest, most durable and most comfortable cloth around?
We set out to make a true five pocket pant for casual work and wear; what used to be called a dungaree. It needed to be ready for our lifestyle. One pant we could wear everyday, all day. One that could handle the rub and tug of daily cycling and would still look good even when covered in grease and paint. Pants that stay dry in light rain, yet dry fast if they do get wet. Pants that shrug off coffee and beer. Pants that look and smell good even if you never wash them but can also get tossed in the washer without compromising their core style. Fit-wise, we made these pants for the cyclist with large muscular thighs and a smaller waist. If you've ever had to size up a size or two just to fit your legs, these pants are for you. We started with a larger thigh area but tapered the leg down to a fitted bottom hem for a trim, longer look. We then engineered the back yoke to angle downwards, allowing the seams to be higher and out of the way of the saddle. The gusseted crotch allows you to move freely over the
