Outlier - 60/30 Chino - Navy

New York based, Outlier is a company that focuses on making tailored performance apparel for cycling in the city. Functional street wear that is comfortable in the saddle and utilitarian but doesn't shout "I rode my bike today!!"

The 60/30 Chinos are the sort of pants we love to make and the Autumnweight version might be the best one yet. Simple, incredibly comfortable and well suited for the rain, grit and motion of real life. Pants you'll want to pull out of you closet and wear everyday. The 325 gram twill has a soft yet dense and substantive feel while the four way stretch gifts it with a true freedom of movement.

We went back to the drawing board here, with the goal of creating a superior cotton twill pant. We started with and Autumnweight version of our 60/30 Cloth, a carefully considered blend of cotton (64%), micro-denier nylon(29%) and elastane(7%). You get all the comfort and good looks of a classic cotton khaki twill, but with the durability of a hiking parka and the four way stretch freedom of a bike short. We built them up using a military style construction and added key loops, a stash pocket and hidden front button. For the pockets we turned to a linen-cotton blend for that cool natural toughness that only linen provides.
