'It's as if you are breathing out hot splinters of glass,' says former racing cyclist Peter Winnen about cycling in Senegal. For five years, Dutch photographer Chris Keulen photographed the African bike-racing routes in Senegal, Cameroon, Eritrea and twice in Burkina Faso. For his photo feature taken in Burkina Faso he received the World Press Photo Award.
